WinFF Version 1.0 Released

Posted under WinFF

Today, after 2 years of tinkering, WinFF 1.0 is released.

I never dreamed a little cheesy program I wrote to write scripts for FFmpeg would be in the top 5 of video converters for the windows platform and linux at the same time.

I would like to thank Paul Gevers for making it into Debian and Ubuntu, and he has done so much more than just packaging. Ian Stoffberg for really cleaning up the user interface, the most important thing in a GUI. Thanks to all the translator’s for their support in making winff available in 14 languages.

Thanks to all the users for using WinFF.

Ubuntu Intrepid and Juanty, Debian, and the RPM’s will be available in the next 48 hours.
