Quantum Evolvution.
Posted under UncategorizedI letter i wrote to a talk radio show guest:
I was listening to NPR science friday when you were on a couple days ago.
I really liked your answers on the caller’s questions and statement’s about mathematical probabilities, and the part about Creationists focusing on the gaps. One of the reason I think the Creationist are having good luck in the recent past is because Evolutionary theory is not evolving but is beginning a revolution. The gaps are growing and growing.
Anthropology has recently had big findings, like the new Indonesian man’s skeleton that almost doubled modern man’s history to 13 million years. The possible “Hobbit.” and the city of Troy. Anthropology is proving Darwin’s examples wrong. We are finding out we know less than we ever thought we did. We may not have evolved from apes. It’s becoming more likely that we evolved from other humanoid species.
Astronomy is opening the doors to large holes in Evolutionary theory. It has become more likely, by a great margin, that any where we find liquid water in the universe, we will find life. The theory that all life on earth may a common ancestor, may or may not be true any more. Proteins have been found in meteorites. The earth is made of meteorites. If one meteorite landed with proteins, why not more? If the Earth has the conditions needed for life, and proteins can survive atmospheric re-entry, how many times have new chemical life processes started? Is it possible that dinosaurs came from the fungus of one meteorite and mammals from another?
Although science finding are not pointing to what the religious theories say, they do not point to what Darwin outlined either. It is a whole new set of directions, Quantum Evolution.
It will be very interesting to see where it takes us.
