WinFF bug

After months of looking for why winff would launch the console window and crash, I finally had the opportunity to use a computer it was crashing on. It has to do with punctuation in the windows username. The user name that i found that broke it was “Jim & Kay”.  So, the application data path would be “C:\documents and setting\jim & kay\application data\winff”

Even though it was contained in quotes cmde.exe still did not like it.

For the moment. If it doesn’t work, there is not a lot to do until i figure out how to fix it.

Government Conspiracy

I was reading about how the anthrax letters case from 9/11.

How does a crazy scientist at a top military lab, that the government says acted alone to inspire fear of anthrax so that his work could continue, know to have have his anthrax letters ready to go on the same day that muslim terrorist attack the World Trade Center?

So he had all his stuff ready and perfectly preserved and was waiting for an oppertunity? Please.

According to the Attorney General, he was spouting muslim themes just days before 9/11. So how did he know?

and all this happened on the same day that to two airplanes smashed two buildings that fell symetricly straight down.

We may never know the truth, but we can be certain that we don’t know it.

Philosophers

What does it mean to be a philosopher? Does it mean you have to be a genius? Does it mean you have to be university professor?

No.

According to Merriam-Webster’s definition: 1 a: a person who seeks wisdom or enlightenment

According to Plato, all it requires a love of learning.

What does it mean to love to learn?

It could be as simple as loving to try new foods or new card games, but as far as spirituality, it means a lot more.

Loving to learn means learning to love to make mistakes. By making mistakes, we learn. Every mistake we make makes us smarter. In the words of Nietzsche, “That which does not kill me, makes me stronger”

Loving to learn also requires an open mind. The Idea that we can change our beliefs, discarding harmful beliefs and incorporating good beliefs as we go through our lives.  We will never know everything, but we can learn more than we know now.
