About Me

Posted under

I have had a computer since I was 9 years old. My first computer was a Kaypro Lugable with 16k of ram and an 8 inch floppy drive, that my uncle gave me. It had basic and fortran. The OS was cp/m. Back then there wasn’t any commercial games. So if i wanted to play games, I had to write them. My first game I wrote was pyramid solitaire game. By the time I was 12 I was writing 6510 assembly language on the commodore 64. Since, I have had a great number of computers, from an IBM XT, Commodore Amiga, 286, 386 to my dual core system today.

I have been on the internet for a very long time. I first used a commodore 64 and 300 baud modem to access the usenet news via bulletin boards in the early 1980’s. I am still a big usenet fan. My favorite groups being rec.humor.funny, alt.binaries.*, and alt.crafts.*.

I have written programs in a wide variety of languages. My favorite language is pascal. Although I have written programs in C, Perl, PHP, Assembly, Javascript, Basic, Forth, Fortran, and variety of older scripting languages that are now obsolete.

Of course, my most well known program is WinFF. WinFF has been used around the world to help people post videos to the internet despite oppressive regimes.

I like scifi, action, and thriller movies. My favorite movies are Quenten Tarantino’s. I do read a lot, mostly “How To” books. I also like to read philosophy, true crime, and spy novels.
